SAMPLE INVITATION

Dear Leader,

We are planning the Thirteen  annual Pickering Community Leaders Prayer Breakfast, to be held at the Annandale Golf Club on Thursday, 16th June, 2016.

The purpose of the Breakfast is again: ‘To lift up in prayer for their wise and Godly leadership, all political, civic, religious, educational and other leaders in the Whitby community, and to seek unity in prayer and action for the well-being and safety of the community.”

Our prayers are being answered. Over the past few years our community has been spared many of the upheavals and disasters that have regrettably marred so many others around the world. We count it a blessing.

The Breakfast is an inter-denominational event that attracts participation by representatives of all Christian denominations in the Pickering-Ajax community. We expect a gathering of some 160 people from the various churches and organizations.

The breakfast program is scheduled to begin at 7. 30 am and conclude at 9.30 am. It will include short inspirational messages from representative church leaders, special musical renditions, prayers for leaders and groups and the feature address. The Mayor of Pickering will again be our Guest of Honour. Please see the attached Flyer.

We would like to request the participation of your Fellowship in the Breakfast this year. Tables of 8 are available.

This breakfast has been well  supported over the years and we anticipate the same response this year. We look forward to receiving your kind acceptance of this invitation to be a part of the initiative.
