Durham Prayer Breakfasts

Purpose

To lift up in prayer for their wise and Godly leadership, all political, civic, business, religious, educational and other leaders in the community, and to seek unity in prayer for the well being and safety of the community.

 Scriptural Foundations

Pray for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:2).

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgement (Philippians 1:9).

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled  with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9)

Program

The Breakfasts  include short inspirational messages by representative church leaders, special musical renditions, worship, prayers for leaders and a feature address by the Guest Speaker.
